The man was on his ladder while he lettered a showroom window.
As a sign painter, I was excited to meet someone with great skills to learn from.
“I can’t tell you all my secrets” he spat out as I asked him how he created a nice effect with his paint.
Quite stunned, I said “thank you.” He replied “no problem.”
Actually, it seemed to be a very big problem. For him.
What will be left of me if I give part of myself to you?
– Enough, for both of us.
I recently saw a bird’s nest balanced perfectly on a finger branch.
It offered me a chance to release my fear of the future and regrets of the past in favor of being amazed in the now.
